The Effects of Endermolift on the Signs of Aging Prof. Philippe Humbert
The mechanical characteristics of the skin are closely linked to those of the dermis. In fact, the layer absorbs shocks and provides the skin with elasticity, spontaneous tension, and strength.
Massage is a therapeutic technique that makes the skin more supple and elastic, and improves it’s aesthetic qualities. It applies
a mechanical stimulation that will be trigger biological responses, which is what we call the mechanotransduction phenomenon.
The mechanical stimulation modifies the behavior of the fibroblasts by inducing several biological responses, including the production of collagen.
Endermolift uses mechanotransduction to stimulate the fibroblasts (cells responsible for collagen production).
This 100% physiological and noninvasive mechanical approach to treating the face’s signs of aging appears to be a promising new therapy based on biological mechanisms.
